DeKalb Wedding at Altgeld Hall by Hannah Persson Photo

Some little girls dream of dancing with prince charming in a castle on their wedding day. That dream came true for this bride at Altgeld Hall, castle and all, and she looked every bit the part of princess in a low backed lace Casablanca Bridal gown. Hannah Persson Photo and Noel Davis Photography were both on hand to shoot the whole regal reception and the Bethlehem Lutheran Church ceremony. See all the best of the unfolding fairytale in the full gallery!

From Hannah Persson PhotoThe wedding was held on a beautiful day in June. It was an elegant, classy and simple affair — the venue was beyond words. Altgeld Hall is a stately castle that transports you into another world, which is perfect for your wedding day. The simple and understated DIY additions like the chalkboards for the menus and dessert table were beautifully handwritten, adding a special touch to the day. The pinkish hue of the room glowed by the candlelight and DIY table centerpieces, which featured floating roses. The TVK Orchestra played into the night, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Some of the photos after the ceremony were taken at the beautiful Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles, right on the water.
