Los Angeles Country Club Wedding by Amy and Stuart Photography + Love Luck and Angels

It seems like I’ve spent hours searching for just the right words to describe this breathtaking Los Angeles Country Club affair and, try as I might, I’m still coming up short.  Sure, I could say the images by the ever-amazing Amy and Stuart Photography will literally stop your heart with their beauty or that the fab stylings of Jo Gartin of Love Luck and Angels will leave you mesmerized for days.  But when you take in just one glimpse of this wedding masterpiece, you’ll know that those words are, well… just not good enough.  Because this is the kind of wedding that deserves a whole new set of superlatives – and you can see every last glorious moment right here.

Oh, and we’re not done yet.  Take a look at this speech-defying film by Paper Tape Films.  It’s amazing.

Giant pine trees and words of love lined the path to the rustic lemonade stand set to quench guests’ thirst prior to the ceremony. Terin arrived wearing a stunning Marchesa gown in a classic pewter Rolls Royce and processed down a wooden aisle lined with potted hydrangea, French slotted chairs, benches and cushions to join her prince. After the “I do’s,” cocktails and bite-sized appetizers were served in a terrace lounge. Jo Gartin created an intimate living room with velvet chesterfields, midcentury accents, vintage keepsakes sand overhanging crystal chandeliers. The indoor dining room was a mass of candlelight bordered by custom drapes and tufted velvet walls in shades and textures of gray. Long dinner tables were dressed with silk linens, and hand-picked white and peach florals and Venetian mirrors reflected the elegance. A fall-inspired menu was served from mismatched English silver platters before guests danced to the couple’s favorite tunes and then sipped on cappuccinos, cake and assorted bite-sized treats….

From the Couple… It was super-important to us that the wedding was very personal and reflected us as couple and as individuals. We wanted everyone to feel like they were at our wedding and not just another generic wedding. With Jo’s help, we created a lot of personal touches, such as writing our own vows and having all the guests include a thought about us on the response card that the cantor incorporated into the ceremony. We used my husband’s Tallit that he used at his Bar Mitzvah, which was also his grandfather’s. The music during the ceremony was also very special to us, as well as bringing in all of the furniture, china, mismatched antique silverware and vintage glassware. Even the small details like the books and games that Jo placed on the coffee tables outside really reflected us and our personalities. Another personal touch was getting married in the middle of the golf course, which was so unique and different and gave us a combination of that city and far away venue feel that we wanted. We really wanted everyone to feel warm and cozy and as though they were in someone’s home and not a ballroom/wedding venue. The venue was also very special to us because our family has been going there for years and years. We also just really wanted to everyone to dance the night away, so continuous music with the band and DJ was super important. The whole feel of the wedding was a mix between old Hollywood glamor and rustic elegance.
