Palm Springs Wedding Portraits at Korakia Pensione by Aaron Delesie

It’s been a good week here on SMP, a very good week. We launched our first EVER Fashion & Beauty E-Mag and have been doing a little happy jig around SMP HQ since the moment it went live. But just when we thought this week couldn’t possibly get any better, it went ahead and got ah-mazing. Because today, lovelies, we get to share a FULL day of Aaron Delesie magic with you, and there aren’t many things that beat that. So join us as we take you down the road to the alter for this stylish duo…trust us when we say, it’s one pretty road! See all their sweet portraits here! And stay tuned for their wedding coming right up!

From Aaron DelesieWe shot the day before the wedding when everyone was hanging out at the pool.

From the Bride… I initially thought I wanted to get married somewhere in Europe and have the ceremony standing in the center of a town by a fountain and go back to a villa where we could enjoy a nice dinner and everyone could stay the night. I then thought about whether or not we could we could create the same feel here in Southern California. The property found me. I was on a blog, not even looking for wedding venues, and saw photos of a beautiful villa and the architecture was amazing and I assumed it was in Europe. As I continued to scroll I saw that it was located in Palm Springs and I was floored. I had no idea a venue like this existed so close to us. I went to their website, fell in love and made a call to them right away. It was everything we were looking for right in our backyard. We loved the fusion of Spanish and Moroccan style, privacy, unique rooms and no televisions or phones anywhere on the property, a true retreat.

With Ron’s family roots coming from Spain the Spanish and Moroccan vibe fit our personality perfectly. We wanted the wedding to be an extension of the property itself. Lisa and Mindy do such amazing work and I wanted to give them complete creative freedom to imagine a wedding I couldn’t even imagine myself. We talked about wanting it to feel more like a dinner party than a wedding, and a few style ideas and they took it from there and surprised us with everything.
