Marietta Wedding at Brumby Hall & Gardens by Angela Wilson Photography

A glam garden wedding is tops on many a bride’s wish list, and Brumby Hall & Gardens fits the venue bill. But who even needs a dream venue when you have DIY expert parents to personalize your entire day? This lucky bride had all of the above plus a charming yellow jacket emblem throughout (a nod to her and the groom’s Alma Mater) and a chandelier topped Sugarplum Visions cake. See the sweet outdoor ceremony and homemade homages shot by Angela Wilson Photography here in the full gallery!

From Angela Wilson PhotographyLindsay and Matt make an adorable couple. They met going to school at Georgia Tech, where Matt was a basketball player. They used the mascot symbol of a yellow jacket throughout their wedding to personalize their details. The symbol is used on their invitations (on a wax stamp emblem), the bride’s purse, ceremony programs and even on the sparkler tags. Lindsay’s parents were an integral part of creating all the southern-style garden ceremony and reception details. Her father hand-built the pulpit, kneeling bench and front row pews for the outdoor ceremony. Her mother did everything from making the personalized entry chalkboards with rhinestone embellishments to hand-dipped white chocolate pretzels with sprinkles to create “love knots” for guest to take home. The flowers and cake were over the top as well. There were 10 layers to the cake made into four smaller cakes uplifted on a pedestal table with a chandelier on the top! The florist had every single detail covered in petals, from the brides hair to the aisle of rose petals during the ceremony and even the flowers draped down from the altar. The reception had flowers on every table with varying shapes and sizes and an oversized arrangement by buffet.
