Butlers Courtyard Wedding by Craig Davis

The stars at night are big and bright and so is my love for this exquisite Texas wedding by Craig Davis. These remarkable images have truly captured elegance at its best – from the s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g bride in Vera Wang to the shabby chic venue, Butlers Courtyard – It’s a sweet soiree that I simply cannot get enough of. Luckily, we can keep the celebration going with more photos in the full gallery here!

Can’t get enough? Neither can we! Luckily, we also have this beautiful video by Sculpting With Time:

From Craig DavidBoth Oliver and YooMi are absolutely precious and wanted to have an intimate wedding with their family and friends with an outdoor ceremony and a cozy, but elegant, reception. They wanted to be different from other asian weddings that are normally held in a hotel or restaurant. Their inspiration and drive was to have a more vintage, historic, elegant wedding that incorporated the american side as well as the Korean and Taiwanese elements and culture. They had many guests from around the globe and definitely wanted to highlight the Texas history. So they chose Butlers courtyard which is a historic building. You can find more about the history of the venue here: http://butlerscourtyard.com/page6/page6.html

She wore a traditional american wedding gown and in the reception changed in to the traditional Korean gown called a “qipao” to respect and honor her culture. Their wedding favor was candy composed of Korean, Taiwanese and American favorites. The bride is Korean and the groom is Taiwanese. They currently live in Houston and are starting the process of buying their first home. How exciting!

From YooMi…Oliver has been bringing spontaneous joys and thoughtful surprises to my life, and more than anything…companionship. I’m grateful that I “stumbled upon” him at the least expected moment of my life and got to know him. As I have always believed, God has his own magical way of making history and we are a true example of his work.

From Oliver…Yoomi is the best thing that’s happened to me. I appreciate that she not only puts up with my quirks, but also provides a source of stability for my thoughts, ideas, and feelings. She complements me in every aspect of life.
