Get ready, because this destination dream wedding captured by Alison Mayfield Photography Studio is so beautiful, so elegant, so perfect my fingers can barely type the adjectives fast enough. The ceremony location alone might be my favorite of all time, and don’t even get me started on the cocktail hour and reception – there just isn’t enough room to gush over all that gorgeous. From the Bride… When we thought about our wedding we, wanted to do something different, so we decided on a destination wedding. We wanted the atmosphere to be intimate, relaxed and lots of fun, but it was important to us to still maintain some of the “traditional” elements of a wedding. I wanted my wedding to scream “simple elegance” lots of whites, creams and, of course, bling! I didn’t want anything over the top but definitely wanted the “wow” factor! We adore Thailand and thought what better place to celebrate our love for each other.
My wedding turned out to be more that i could have every imagined. My friends and family traveled from around the world to share in our day, which was so special. Everyone was so much fun to work with. I look back at our photos and video and just think how amazing the day truly was. Jason and Harry (dress designers) were so great & made the process of creating something unique for me easy and fun. I felt so in tune with every one that was involved in my wedding. All the elements that were important to us were definitely carried through every piece of the wedding journey.
I would not change a thing about our day — I don’t think I’ve smiled or laughed (ok, and cried) so much in my life. I was overwhelmed by how beautiful the day was, it truly surpassed my expectations.
