From CountDown Events Planning & Design... Working with Amanda and Danny was an absolute pleasure! Amanda has amazing taste a perfect blend of elegance and romance. From our first meeting to the wedding day, every little detail communicated what the couple had envisioned for their wedding day: a beautiful west coast celebration with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, all the while spoiling their guests with an amazing reception. Amanda’s keen interest in nature fueled every single design meeting. Every component of the wedding was infused with natural elements, from the beautiful tree motif on the stationery signifying their ceremony spot to the use of birch tree bark framing the flower arrangements. We chose warm earth tones such as rich tones of browns and oranges mixed with a hint of yellow and green. We also incorporated elegant timeless décor details such crystal candelabras and eight crystal chandeliers that hung in the reception tent.

The ceremony took place overlooking the ocean at Brock House under a giant tree on a gorgeous sunny day. We added a touch of romance by covering the altar area with hundreds of burnt orange-colored rose petals. The sea breeze helped in spreading the petals beautifully. The couple’s personalized ceremony was accentuated by a Spanish guitar duo. After the touching ceremony, guests were met with delicious signature drinks and appetizers. Amanda took great care in choosing sustainable and local ingredients. Guests enjoyed a sunny cocktail reception on the sprawling lawns overlooking the Pacific Ocean as boats sailed by. As the sun went down, guests gathered under the white marquee tent and glowing chandeliers for dinner. The overall theme of the menu was "West Coast," so all ingredients were fresh local and seasonal. After dinner, a lavish dessert bar was displayed as guests enjoyed tea and coffee. Dancing commenced with the bride and groom hitting the dance floor in style and continued until the venue doors were closing down. It was a magical day with a perfect, fairytale ending.
