As a self proclaimed book nerd and ocean lover, I’m totally obsessed with this adorable couple’s e-session by When He Found Her Wedding Photography. They took my two favorite things, okay, maybe three when you count the fall foliage, and wrapped them up into one fabulous photo session. From the Bride-to-Be… For our November engagement shoot, my fiance, Josh, and I chose to venture to the historic waterfront area of Oakville, Ontario, where I grew up. The changing colours of the leaves made such a brilliant backdrop along with the old buildings. One of our favourite ways to spend time throughout our relationship has been to read aloud together, and we were excited to incorporate that aspect of who we are as a couple into our shoot. Our amazing photographer, Reid Lambshead, was so excited to help bring our vision to life. Amongst many others, I have read the entire Harry Potter series aloud to Josh, so we definitely wanted to use one of the novels as our main book — some would say that’s dorky, but it’s so us! For the books we used, some were already on our shelves and some we found at a used book sale — I love the look of the old cloth covers. We had such a wonderful time on the day of the shoot, and Reid truly captured how much fun we have together and the joy we feel looking forward to our upcoming wedding. Every time I look at these photos, I have a huge smile on my face, and I’m so excited to marry the love of my life this coming September!
