From J Morgan FlowersJade and Matt had been high school sweethearts, and after a few years apart, true love got the better of them and off to the altar they went! Jade is truly one of the most stunning, sweet and kind brides I have had the privilege of working with — let me add with exquisite taste!! Her vision was vintage glamour with hints of soft peach, blush and champagne for a timeless appeal. The Chuppah was custom-made for Jade and Matt and was made of lace over a stunning champagne satin from New York. The scallops of the lace were topped perfectly with the lushness across the top of ivory hydrangeas, and a mix of roses and spray roses in the peach family for a very textural look and feel. The bridal party had a walk to the Chuppah that we dressed perfectly with vintage silver stands topped with a lush arrangement of florals and a mix of petals.

The reception was in the pier top of the hotel, which actually rotates throughout the evening giving the perfect views of Fort Lauderdale. Taking the breathtaking views into account, we selected centerpieces that didn’t compete with the views of the city. Tall trumpet vases with swags of pearls and crystals were topped with a large puffy domes a mix of the chosen flowers for a cohesive feel, then with a trio of floating candles and flowers in mint julep cups at the base. The bride’s bouquet was crowned with white feathers for added detail, as well as a vintage brooch from my private collection. The groom had a touch of feathers to complement his new wife! The J Morgan Flowers team wish the new Mr. and Mrs. Scott a lifetime of happiness, love and laughter!
