From the Bride… We met in Montreal at a downtown club. We had been dating for a year and a half when Phil surprised me with a trip to Paris, France, and a surprise proposal at the end of our trip! After a romantic time in Paris, I wanted to keep the same feeling for our wedding. I had seen pictures of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and I thought it would be the most beautiful place to get married. And it was. The day of our wedding, everything was perfect, and we were truly blessed that all went as planned. We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and with our friends and family in attendance we married at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Afterwards our reception took place at Queen’s Landing Vintage Hotel. The hotel’s ballroom had been transformed with flowers, linens and candles. Our first dance was to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing,” and while dancing, we could feel the love and affection from all of our friends and family. Our wedding day was filled with love and happiness!
