From the Bride... Our rehearsal dinner took place at our wedding venue the Friday before the wedding. Our family and friends had flown in over the past week, and we had celebrated with a sunset sail the night before. Our colors were pink, aqua and gold, and Beth and I had put together an array of turquoise and white polished shells as centerpieces. The weather was not looking good, and we were all hoping it would not rain, as the luau and meal were both taking place outdoors. Jeremy and I had just barely finished our sunset photos on the beach when the drizzle began. Our guests, who had been dining on our traditional island luau cuisine, all made a mad dash for the house. Beth, her staff and Alyssa all ran around gathering up the food and brought it indoors. The hula dancers and island duo kept the music going on the lanai of the private estate we had rented for the week.  Although the rain was literally POURING down from the roof, all our guests had a fantastic time. We were so thankful we had the house to continue the festivities out of the rain. Desserts were passed around on wooden trays, and as the evening progressed, the rain stopped, and the fire dancer was able to go out on the grass and do his fire hurling routine. Although the thought of rain was very upsetting at first, in the end it turned into a magical night.
