From the Bride… Jeison and I met through mutual friends in college. We got to know each other while working in the same building. Every time Jeison would come into the building while I was working, he would throw acorns at me — I would never know where they were coming from. When he finally asked me out, he had carved out an acorn and wrote “Homecoming?” inside with letters cut out from a magazine.
Jeison is from Guatemala and is an aspiring doctor. He is currently working in the E.R. as a scribe and working on getting into medical school. I am from Castroville, Texas, and I am currently a second grade teacher. We both attend church and love being outdoors when the weather is not too hot or cold.
For our wedding, first of all we knew we wanted God to be glorified throughout the entire event. As far as the look and feel of the wedding, I think it went exactly how we imagined. We were going for a vintage, country feel with plenty of girly touches from me. :) It was really important to incorporate family traditions as well.
