British Columbia Wedding Film from IQVideography + IQPhoto
March 31, 2012
This wedding could not be any more gorgeous. Set in front of an amazing castle (yes, castle) in British Columbia, it is a soiree this couple, their lucky guests, and now we too, will never forget. Captured phenomenally in a FAB highlight film from IQVideography - you are going to need to set aside a few minutes this morning to fall in love. And you'll definitely need more than a few more minutes to admire the gallery full of stunning images from IQPhoto!
Wallace and I bonded over our love of England. When I first started planning the wedding, part of me wanted to get married at a castle in England, but another part of me wanted the wedding to be in British Columbia, where I grew up. Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC was the perfect combination. It was commissioned by BC's lieutenant governor at the turn of the 20th century and during the Second World War, plans were made for the castle to be used as a royal residence for King George VI and his family away from the war. We fell in love with the castle the first time we visited.

We knew we would face logistical challenges planning a wedding in BC because we live in California, but we were determined to make it happen. We worked together with our family and vendors to create an event that was personal and special. We felt very lucky that so many of our family and friends traveled from Taiwan and all over North America to celebrate with us. Our wedding was everything we imagined it could be, and we are very happy that our photographer and videographer documented it beautifully.
