San Diego will always have a very special place in my heart and as a former resident of that sunny little city, this wedding is making me oh so proud. It’s all the best parts of So. Cal coming together: a care-free, laid back attitude, a so-pretty-it-hurts aesthetic and a whole lot of talent rolled up into one romantic Coronado wedding. From the Bride… September 3, 2011, was the best day of my life. I remember slipping into my dress and having a hard time believing that all of my dreams were coming true. From the paper pinwheels lining the aisle to the flower-filled mason jars hanging from the trees, every detail came together flawlessly. The invitations perfectly reflected my vision of rustic romance, while the gorgeous centerpieces gracefully accented the crochet lace table runners. Everything was tied together with the delicately detailed menus, table numbers and quotes scattered throughout the reception. I loved every second of planning this wedding. Even when I was overwhelmed, tired and ready for it all to be over, I enjoyed it. It wasn’t until I started to plan my wedding that I realized that having a team of vendors who work well together and having family and friends who love you and care for you no matter what are two of the most important ingredients to a dream wedding. I am beyond blessed to have had all of these ingredients. It is because of this that my wedding dreams were turned into a reality. I could not have asked for a better day.
