Lightning C Ranch Wedding by McGowan Images

Ranch weddings were made to look like this. A beautiful celebration out in the wilds of Texas with a Bride and Groom who are madly in love and have the awesome pictures to prove it captured by Chelsea + Mack of McGowan Images. It’s hazy, sun-kissed images filled with baby’s breath bouquets, cowboy hats and boots galore. Oh yeah, and a whole lot of Texas-sized LOVE. See it all right here.

From Chelsea of McGowan ImagesHannah and Jordan were married at Lightning C Ranch in Granbury, Texas on February 25th, 2012. They originally planned their wedding for mid-April, but when Hannah’s father (a world-renowned sculptor) was commissioned for a piece to be unveiled at the Boston Marathon, they knew they’d have to move their whole wedding up.

The extra rush didn’t mean that any detail was overlooked — every single thing about this wedding was handcrafted with love. Special care was given to make sure everything felt right at home on the Lightning C Ranch, and the feeling of heirloom quality ran throughout the entire day. Lightning C Ranch is the private home of a family friend of the bride, and it was completely taken over in preparation for this wedding. The details of the property alone are worth an entire blog post! When you add to that the gorgeous florals provided by Town & Country and lots of heirloom crockery and glassware, this wedding became completely personal and unique.

From a photographic standpoint, this wedding was a dream. Hannah and Jordan are so very much in love and had so much help pulling off this intricate event. Whenever they were in each others’ presence, they just glowed. Aside from the beautiful weather and the stunning details, the LOVE is what really made this wedding a joy to photograph.
