From Matthew of Matthew Johnson StudiosChristina Lewis of Wedding Warriors in Wimberley, Texas, did the styling and design. Christina specializes in planning green weddings and events, which was a perfect fit for Johnny and Siobhan and their backyard wedding. Both Johnny and Siobhan are foodies who work in the bar and restaurant industry, so serving great food and drinks was important to them. Johnny’s Austin restaurant Black Star Co-op is known for its craft beers, which were served at both the pre-ceremony cocktail hour and the reception. Unique vintage touches like an old typewriter were a perfect fit for the bride, who is a writer. Even with a full moon, the field where the dinner and reception took place needed substantial lighting to brighten the seating. Strung lights lit the property, while a fire pit warmed guests as the fall evening cooled off. The warm lighting matched the fall color scheme and floral designs perfectly.
