From Lisa of Joshua Zuckerman Photography… The couple, Meghan and John, was inspired by the Catskills and the Emerson Resort’s sophisticated décor. They wanted a rustic, relaxed atmosphere with a New York City feel, so they kept the colors to black and white with some pink. The beautiful flowers by Steven Bruce Design provided wonderful pops of color against the lush green background of the mountains and gave the wedding décor a playful feel. Meghan and John made time for couple portraits before and after the ceremony so we had time to take advantage of the natural beauty of the area. The bride changed into a pair of sparkly flats for navigating the rocky shoreline of the nearby river. The guests had a blast with lots of dancing and tequila shots late into the night. The Momofuku cookies as a take-home gift were a little reminder of the couple’s NYC roots.
