Ana and Erik, like most couples, envisioned a wedding that would reflect who they are in a way that can be experienced by their friends and family. They wanted a sophisticated VIP experience for their guests combined with the ease of San Diego. Couple that with a little sparkle (inspired by Ana’s stunning engagement ring) and we have ourselves a wedding!

Ana wore a stunning Ines Di Santo Gown and Christian Louboutin peep toe shoes. The girls started the day with a blush pink Vera Wang gown for the ceremony and changed into Vera Wang platinum dresses for the celebration. Each of the girls wore a necklace hand selected by the bride.

As much as we wanted to embrace the clean lines and outdoor urban setting, we also wanted ROMANCE. Ana envisioned “cloudlike” charm for her wedding ceremony. We created intimacy by bringing in white benches and diamond embellished white covered chairs to frame the altar. A 30” aisle runner was designed with hand painted blush peonies and a crystal embedded signature “B.” The soft billows of flowers truly created the feeling of being among the clouds. Guests were greeted with a champagne cocktail complete with a 3 carat sugar diamond at the base of the flute. Erik even learned a little Spanish and used his new found talent in his vows to Ana. The ceremony was complete with the breaking of the glass!

Diamond encrusted banquettes, white lacquer tables and tufted silver bars were special ordered for their VIP cocktail reception. The “Berry in Love Mojito” and the “I Pink I Love You Martini” were sipped to the beat of a Latin grove band while the sun set over the San Diego skyline. Crystals blanketed the place card table and raspberry linens and flowers added the pop of color that set the tone for fun!

The reception palette was softer with more silver and white with blush pink accents. We worked with 3 different tablescapes to add dimension to the room. Each of the 3 table groupings was a distinct shape and a unique linen, floral, menu and candle. The custom circular dance floor was branded with Ana an Erik’s signature “B” and framed with diamond tufted chaise seating.

Before the real party started, the best man got up to give a toast proclaiming that he need a shot. On cue, the mariachi band started playing as they entered the room followed by 4 “tequila girls” with trays of shots for all of the guests to toast with. Each of the glasses were engraved with the signature “B” for guests to take home. The three tier Swiss dot cake sat on top of a Swarovski crystal pedestal that was rolled out for the cake cut.

The party moved up to Elevation on the 11th floor overlooking the entire city. Mini sliders, mac and cheese and fries were the perfect late night snacks for the party that continued until the wee hours of the morning.
