Red Corral Ranch Wedding by Q Weddings

I just can’t get enough of ranch weddings!  Each one we feature makes my heart do a few hundred somersaults and this Wimberley wedding has put it into overdrive.  I’m totally smitten with the long, European-style dinner tables covered in romantic arrangements of fuchsia flowers and feathers in vintage bottles, the many personalized details and the seriously swoon-worthy couple at the center of it all.  Q Weddings knows how to capture a wedding with style and they did not hold back here!  See it all in the full gallery!

From Suzy of Q WeddingsThe overall theme of Elisha and Buzzy’s wedding rustic chic. It took place on a ranch in Texas with mostly non-Texans for wedding guests. There were lots of unique details. Instead of a first dance, the couple did a first karaoke: “Islands in the Stream,” followed by the hora, which was played by a local rockabilly band, Jesse Dayton. Elisha hired cheerleaders from a local high school to create a paper banner that said “E loves B.” When Elisha and Buzzy were introduced at the reception, they broke through the banner. The reception dinner was outdoors and featured long European style tables topped with brown pharmacy bottles, feathers, flowers, corkboard table numbers and hand painted place cards. Elisha and Buzzy hand-painted the invitations. The invitations were created by her father, who also is a rabbi and officiated the ceremony. Elisha said they made a lot of the details themselves because “we love being creative and we love making things special for the people we love.” Buzzy’s dad owns a mens’ clothing store, so his clothing was particularly detailed, including his name sewn into his suit jacket. Elisha wore two dresses, and the first one had a hoop!
