Keith’s Farm Wedding by Tim Correira Photography

Tim Correira Photography, I could just kiss you for sending this Martha’s Vineyard wedding our way!  This bride was already beyond stunning but her whimsical halo and chic little booties from BHLDN made my accessory-loving heart jump for joy.  Her effortless beauty sets the tone for the rest of the wildly romantic celebration.  The wildflowers, vintage goodies and jewel-toned details have filled me with pure, wedding-induced joy!  See them all in the full gallery!

From the bride… Keith’s Farm, with its rolling green fields, grazing cows and views of the big blue ocean beyond, set the mood for the whole wedding. It’s a a stunningly beautiful place, but also has a rustic-country vibe — the Vineyard at its most Vineyard-y. For colors, I picked my two favorites: green and purple. My friends picked their own bridesmaids dresses in different shades of purple. For flowers, I told Krishana the bouquets could be really wild, full of texture, with lots of deep purples and greens. She has her own flower fields on the island, and in September, I was able to walk through them and pick out what I liked. We wanted the wedding to highlight what we love about Martha’s Vineyard, from the Sweet Neck oysters to the music of Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish. On our invitations, we used a print from island artist Daniel Waters. To put a little personal touch and add some whimsy to the elegant tables, we bought a whole bunch of novelty and vintage salt and pepper shakers. We found most of them at Granddaddy’s, a giant antique shop in David’s home state of North Carolina.

I bought my dress at The Bridal Garden in New York City, a non-profit bridal boutique that sells discounted dresses, donated by designers, to raise money for New York City public schools. The boots and wreath I found on the BHLDN website. When I close my eyes, I can still see the sunset casting a golden glow in the tent, the faces of my friends and family, the tables set for dinner, and Johnny Hoy tuning up. I just knew it was going to be an amazing night.
