And it’s LOVELY all caps style thanks to this adorable duo and the bride’s short little stunner of a gown. From Jessica of Alicia K Designs… Originally from the Bay Area, Ann and Steven wanted to host their wedding close to where their friends and loved ones were. To begin their day, they wanted to incorporate the traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony that was held at a private residence in San Jose. After the traditional ceremony, it was time to relocate to the beautiful city of San Francisco where their wedding celebration was being held. With so many unique venues in San Francisco, how could they possibly choose the venue that was best suited for their tastes? We knew Ann and Steven’s vision for their wedding was one full of texture mixed with vintage, industrial, and organic details, so the San Francisco Design Center was the perfect fit. We brought whimsical, romantic details into their design and combined them with an industrial concept, ensuring their wedding was everything they dreamed of and more. To make Ann’s walk down the aisle special, we fashioned soft green runners made of organic moss to line the walkway. The runners were topped with succulents, orchids, and wood cut plates. We then added columns holding floating candles to complete the design. The end result provided the combination of modern, natural and whimsical elements the couple was looking for, and its uniqueness set the tone for the rest of the wedding design. Because Ann is a pharmacist, we decided to construct something fun for the guests to do that involved this aspect of Ann’s personal life. “The Prescription of Love” guest book was just what the doctor ordered to add creativity and fun to the occasion. We created prescription pads that guests could use to get as inspired as they liked while writing their well wishes to the bride and groom. This made for some great laughs and entertainment throughout the night! Ann and Steven’s wedding was filled with love and laughter. The unique backdrop provided a special feeling that was only enhanced by the couple’s fun and outgoing personalities. We wish Ann and Steven the best of luck on their newlywed journey!
