Happy Valentine’s Day SMPers! It’s shouldn’t be a huge surprise that SMP headquarters is all a flutter on this day devoted to love. We are just a tad bit fond of that four letter word, and we jump on board for any excuse to celebrate the emotion. So celebrate we shall – with a lineup of the loveliest sorts! Starting with my number one girl crush – Mrs. Lilien. Because if there is anyone that knows how to celebrate in style, it’s that little lady and today she’s sharing a tradition between her and her Mister that I can definitely get behind…
Imagine if you can – a bauble collection building gifting tradition instated by your man??!! Valentine’s Day, 10 years ago, is where it all began. My love for good costume baubles began long ago – and the obsession with all things enormous and ostentatious has only deepened I’ll have you know. My mister caught on rather quickly – to my fascination with all things big, sparkly and pretty. So it was on Valentines a whole decade ago – that he gifted me a cocktail bauble and set my heart aglow! My effervescent giddiness was more than he had anticipated – and so, on that very day his annual tradition was formulated. My impressive cocktail ring collection has been single handedly built by my dearly beloved – Mister Lilien is an expert at gifting my things that I adore and covet! With each passing year the collection evolves and blossoms – oozing with love, glam and sentiment that’s utterly beyond awesome!
