From The Studio B Photography…This photo shoot was inspired by the 1940’s. After much research was done by owners Jamie and Tra to get Vinewood listed on The National Register of Historic Places, they discovered that the minister that once owned Vinewood from 1941-1946 officiated many simple weddings there.

During this time Vinewood was lovingly known then as “The Wedding House” by the local community. During WWII most weddings were kept simple and understated. So after Pastor Young would perform the intimate ceremonies that usually only consisted of the Bride & Groom and immediate family a large picnic for family and friends would be held on the front lawn of Vinewood.

The “Perfect Pair” themed shoot was inspired by the “game night” concept for a reception.  A perfect pair being two aces in a hand of cards, otherwise known as a Top Pair. Everything from vintage playing cards, real clay poker chips to bakelite dice are all from the 40’s era.

One of the most authentic details was the Malmaison bouquet crafted by Virtu Floral and Event Design. A Malamaison bouquet is made to look like one giant rose. Ours was 9 inches in diameter! The bouquet is actually made of individual rose petals being pinned and glued in al concentric circle and creates the illusion of one large natural bloom.
