From the Bride…Our wedding took place on Sunday September 4th, 2011 at a heritage school house in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. The school house was beaming with memories, as my mom used to plan “parasol garden weddings”, reminiscent of English Garden parties there. The park in which the house is located, also happens to be the spot in which my brothers memorial bench is perched, directly in front of the school house. My aunt was also married in this spot over 10 years ago and well as my grandmother’s 65th birthday celebration.

The reception was an afternoon high tea; elegant in style but relaxed in environment. The day was completely home-grown and crafted by myself and the love of many friends and family. I wanted every detail to have meaning and significance, with ultimate goal of creating an environment that set our love story on fire and open the door to our hearts!
