From Rowell Photography…The rugged but beautiful Canadian Muskoka was the setting for this quaint wedding. While the bride wanted elements inspired by the famous Muskoka terrain, she also wanted to ensure the wedding had a elegant feel with vintage accents. Wedding designer, Rachel A. Clingen created a fresh and intimate feel for both the water side ceremony and the tented reception. The ceremony was held on the dock over looking the beautiful lake. Large fresh arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, mums and orchids sat on top of large cylinder vases filled with accents of birch. Mason jars filled with compliment flowers hung on white vintage shepherds hooks and were the perfect detail for the aisle. Hanging satin ribbons, vintage lanterns and even the bride and grooms initials hung from a birch arch and was the perfect backdrop for the small intimate head table. Vintage bottles, birch candle holders all added to the romantic atmosphere. Mason jars filled with fresh hydrangeas, orchids and mums along with birch candle holders were the centerpiece of choice. Burlap wrapped napkins with an orchid attachment added a rustic feel to each guest table.
