If you love fun weddings, this my dears, will be right up your wedding alley! You seriously can’t help but smile at the spunk and creativity of this sweet polka dot fete. This fun-loving couple were inspired by the groom’s last name, Presley, and named each table after a famous Elvis song and even had the lyrics of “Love Me Tender” hand painted on a piece of wood for a touch of rustic in the midst of their whimsical day. From Micah & Megan: This wedding seemed perfect to submit with it sweet details and sweet couple. Erica and Charles Presley chose the groom’s namesake as a very specific theme for their wedding decor. Inside a vintage telephone booth was displayed old Elvis Presley record albums. Each table was named for an old Elvis love song, including the sweetheart table’s title, “love me tender.” The lyrics to that song were painted on a rustic piece of wood: “Love me tender, love me sweet. Never let me go, you have made my life complete, and I love you so.” This theme was carried throughout their wedding. They added antique tins, sugar, and flour containers to the center pieces, along with the adorable, custom-made black and white polka dot table cloths. The victorian estate that they chose for their location added a perfect touch to the style and decor of their wedding. The bride and her family made the pies that the couple cut into instead of the traditional cake. Each and every detail was so carefully thought out, and the theme of “Love me Tender” was so apparent in the love that Erica and Charles have for each other. It was an absolute honor to document a love like theirs.
