From Anel Photography…Exquisite comes to mind when I look back on Selena & Ben’s wedding. My heart went into overdrive when I saw all the detail.  There were layers upon layer of vintage touches. With each piece having some sort of special memory, tying it all together on the beginning of another journey for them with their little adorable Jesse! Selena & Ben wanted a vintage country garden celebration on the farm with a relax tone to it. Which I think exceeded all expectations, leaving us all in awe. They created a special day for all to remember for years to come! Each piece of furniture was hand picked & decorated to their taste to blend in with the style they wanted for this special day. Selena even planted all the hanging baskets & succulents in the cans which were given to Ben’s mum after the wedding, which to me is soooo special.

She also nearly missed her beauty sleep the night before becoming Mrs, as she wanted all the details to be perfect & left the creation of the living chandelier for last. Which to me was worth it, as it created such a striking centerpiece for the aisle. I just loved the green colored rug that she used to create a walkway to the love of her life.  WOW, I still can’t get over it all, as the day unfolded it all just got prettier.

Selena arrived in a vintage 1929 Chev that entered through the walkway “Ethel St”.  Halfway down the walkway they drove past a hanging heart that she made for her cousin’s wedding earlier this year.  She borrowed it from her cousin to hang it at her own wedding to symbolize their friendship and family ties. By the end of the ceremony, we were welcomed with such gorgeous sun rays making it such a perfect day. While we focused on the family photos, guests enjoyed refreshments and relaxed in the various entertainment areas.  They even had an outback powder room, constructed by Selena’s bother-in-law with some special finishing touches added by her sister-in-law.

I must say that Selena did a stunning job with setting the scene for the family photos. She created a lounge setting with the cutest side table, to even include a stack of books which belonged to Ben’s Papa {Grandfather} who was dearly loved by them & was Jesse’s biggest fan.  He passed away late last year and the books were a little piece of him that they wanted to include in all their family photos.  I did not know this at the time, but what a way to remember the ones that are dearly missed. The celebrations continued into the night at Toodyay Memorial Hall. What a way to celebrate the love of two people joined to be k.i.s.s.i.n.g F.O.R.E.V.E.R.
