Good morning, SMPers and welcome back to another fabulous day filled with inspiration galore. Today we’re bringing you not seven, but eight amazing and inspiring weddings that are sure to get your bridal wheels turning. Weddings filled with everything from DIY details to sleek and modern touches. So make sure to check out the full galleries for each of these beauties because they are all hand picked and selected just for you!

First up this morning is this gorgeous, vintage chic English DIY filled with tea cups, flowers and the softest and prettiest color palette you ever did see. Segerius-Bruce Photography was on hand to capture all the special details and I must say, I was blown away when I read this couple was on a tight budget, because this pretty fete is all class and style. No doubt the cute couple saved tons of cash when they hand made most of the decor and favors. Click here for more.

From Segerius-Bruce PhotographyThe wedding was inspired by the couples love of classic things like vintage tea cups, old school games and the Great British Summer as well as the couples love of photography.

The groom designed and produced the order of service booklets while the bride and bridesmaids made the confetti cones from paper doilies. The favors were all handmade (bracelets for the ladies (made by the bride) and strawberry jam for the gents (made by the groom). Also hand-made were the rose iced cupcakes made by the bride and family. Most of the stationery (table plan, table numbers and menu’s, luggage tags) were a team effort. The official invites and name cards were professionally made. Props for the makeshift photobooth were also made by the groom. And he sourced the finger print tree and chalk board for their thank you note to the guests.

The addition of the bride’s private ballet performance before the ceremony and the ice cream stand after are fully attributed to the groom who wanted to surprise his bride on the day (she was left speechless and totally ruined her freshly applied makeup). The groom also organized for the bride to have the classic London transport she really wanted – black cabs (to the church) and a classic double-decker routemaster bus to the reception – the Bride was so excited.

From the Bride…We wanted to give our guests a different wedding experience – like being at an English regatta or summer fair. We were lucky to find such stunning venue’s (church and reception) so close to London both stooped with history from a period we loved, that worked perfectly. With a tight budget and passion for making things we also wanted to personalize our wedding by making as many elements of the wedding as possible!
