From Melissa Mermin Love Stories Brendan proposed to Julie atop the XV Beacon hotel in Beacon Hill, so it was fitting to have their rehearsal dinner there at the new restaurant and wine cellar Mooo. Both Brendan and Julie have family ties to the Navy, and Julie had her grandfathers dog tags from WWII pined to her bouquet. The ceremony and reception were held in the historic Navy yard of Charlestown, Boston at the Commandant’s House, built in 1806. They had favors of nautical maps for the guests as favors. Their dogs Lucy and Oliver were featured on their wine bottles.
