From the Bride...Matthew and I met through mutual friends.  Matthew and a group of his friends were out at one of their favorite local pubs, and, knowing that Matthew and I were both single, their friend Katie suggested that I go to meet up with them.  Thankfully, I was intrigued, and went to find out who this “Matt Berg person” was... Needless to say, we felt an instant connection!

Matthew proposed to me on Bear Mountain hike and as we reached the top, gave me a beautiful ring and promised to love me forever! Matthew and I have a bit of a reputation with our friends and family.  We are known as the couple who will always "enjoy the party the most". We love dancing the night away and truly enjoying the company of those we love the most.  This is why we wanted our wedding to be an all out fun fest, and it was!

Matthew and I got married at the Garrison, New York.  We loved the simple elegance of the venue combined with the bright, lovely sunlight that engulfed the dinning area, perfect for us nature lovers!  Our family and friends helped us tremendously.  My aunt Mabel Zorzano designed our invitations, our centerpieces/flowers, labels and much more! Matthew's mother actualized my dream of " succulent plant souvenirs" and grew/planted the most beautiful unique plants.

The yellow in the flowers, bouquets, bridesmaid dresses, and candy bar (my creation!) is a reflection of my love for the sun and outdoors. Having found an amazing photographer- Jenny Ebert- who truly understood our vision, we were surrounded by our favorite things! The celebration was amazing! Matthew and I remember turning to the dance floor on several occasions and gleaming with joy at the sight of almost 100% of the guest crammed into the dance floor dancing the night away and having a great time.  This as well as the amazing food and overall feeling of the night, made this the most amazing and memorable night of out lives.

We also provided our guest with a photo booth with props such such masks and such.  Everyone was really enjoying dressing up and writing us sweet messages as they posed inside the booth.  Overall, our wedding was the perfect way to begin the rest of our lives together, and it has proved to be a memory that will always bring a smile to our faces and warmth to our hearts.
