Carlton Wedding by S. Leishman Wedding Photography + Muesli and Yoghurt

We rarely feature sessions of only the wedding party but when the wedding party looks this good how could we not?  Have you ever seen such chic bridesmaids or more dapper groomsmen in your life?  And the flowers, oh, the flowers!  Muesli and Yoghurt are absolute geniuses and created little works of art with their colorful, seasonal bouquets.  The bride’s arrangement of ranunculus, freesia and blushing bride is a little piece of heaven.  And these images by S. Leishman Wedding Photography are an absolute dream!  Click here to see the rest of this gorgeous shoot!

From Muesli and YoghurtI’m a massive fan of using whats in season and local, so a lot of my bouquets are natives with a twist. In this instance, I’ve used the yellow baubles with ranunculus’, freesias, berries and serruria (aka blushing bride) with some green berries. This bouquet was planned for a spring wedding, with purposely long stems to balance the smaller circular heads. The bridesmaid bouquets use the same flowers, no serruria or yellow baubles, but some traditional Australian yellow wattle. The guys corsages have adopted the wattle as their feature flower.

Stewart Leishman was keen to use the strong architectural features of Carlton gardens, with a few shots taken at the Church of All Nations in Carlton. The guys wore their own suits, with the ladies wearing locally made designs.
