Step 1: Radiant skin comes from within so be sure to step up your skin care regimen at least 3 months before your wedding. Dior suggests One Essential, which detoxifies the skin and enhances the skincare benefits of your current skincare regimen by up to 400%. Then follow with Capture Totale Serum, Crème and Eye Treatment.

To ensure a picture perfect complexion, foundation is a must as flash photography can tend to bring out the pink tones in your skin. Try a foundation with a bit of extra coverage and yellow undertones. Dior Makeup Artist Tina Safonova applied Capture Totale Foundation in Light Beige #020 with a Foundation Brush and covered any imperfections with Diorskin Nude Concealer in Beige #020. To set the look and reduce shine, Tina applied Capture Totale Loose Powder in Bright Light #001.

For a touch of color, Tina applied the pink shades of Diorskin Shimmer Star in Rose Diamond #001 to the apples of the cheeks and used the lighter shades to highlight the eye contour and collar bones which will capture the light in photographs and give you an extra glow.

Step 2: City weddings tend to be a bit more glamorous so this is your opportunity to really emphasize your eyes. Tina started by applying Dior Waterproof Eyeliner in Trinidad Black #094 to both the upper and lower lashes, making the line a bit thicker towards the outer corners.

For a bit of intensity she used Dior 5 Colour Eyeshadow in Mystic Smokys #004. To begin, she pressed the dark purple shade (top left of the palette) on top of the eyeliner. She then mixed the grey and brown shades (top and bottom right of the palette) and swept them into the crease of the eye. To add a little light, she applied the pink shade (middle of the palette) under the brows and in the corners of the eyes. To finish, she applied the white shimmery shade (bottom left of the palette) under the brow bone.

Glamorous eyes call for luscious lashes. Tina applied Diorshow Mazimizer as a primer to thicken and lengthen the lashes. She then applied two coats of Diorshow Blackout Waterproof Mascara. Blackout is infused with the deepest khôl black pigments and its waterproof formulation will ensure that it stays in place until the dancing ends at dawn.

Step 3: Red lips are the signature of the City Chic look. In the past, dramatic eyes and dark lips were a makeup artist faux pas. But Tina assures us this is no longer the case, in fact it is the new trend. So be a trendsetter and boldly apply a radiant red to your lips. Tina used Dior Lip Liner in Holiday Red #863 as a base to hold the color for an entire evening. She then applied Rouge Serum in Crimson Serum #840. Rouge Serum is infused with 10 times the skincare benefits of classic lipsticks so rest assured your lips will not only be perfectly polished but kissably soft as well. For a bit of shine, Tina applied Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in Little Red Dress #853.

Step 4: Experts say that the sense of smell invokes the strongest memories so be sure to finish your look with a spritz of J’adore, Dior’s most elegant and sophisticated fragrance with notes of bergamot, rose and jasmine.
