Syracuse Engagement Session by Mabyn Ludke Photography

Inspired by the movie that finally made me understand the Robert Pattinson (or R Patz as the kids call him) love affair phenomenon – Water for Elephants – this fabulous Syracuse engagement session by Mabyn Ludke Photography has an equally adorable cast of characters. I just love engagement sessions, and when a couple goes above and beyond to make them memorable like this darling duo I get a little giddy. It’s vampire-free yet cute as can be, and there is even more in the full gallery of images.

From Mabyn Ludke PhotographyEvery now and then I get a couple who wants to go that extra mile. Amanda and Bill are definitely one of those couples! They decided they wanted to do a “Water For Elephants” & travel inspired session. I immediately jumped for joy and started scouting locations. I found this great abandoned cement factory that just happened to be next to the train tracks. Between the 3 of us, we came up with little accents to enhance their story and spent several hours pretending we had jumped into the past! We then transitioned to location number 2 with a more modern feel but we made sure to keep the travel theme going. Stylized shoots like this may take a little extra time, but they’re so worth it in the end! It really enhances their story. I absolutely cannot wait for their 2012 wedding!
