Don’t hate me, but I really, really love Mondays. Two days away from all of the pretty that is SMP and, by Monday morning, I am giddy with excitement for the week to come. And today, I was greeted with this lovely Karma Vineyards wedding by Jennifer Tai Photo Artistry. Swoon. With the gorgeous, I-want-to-move-there-asap location (Seriously… look at those views!), the beautiful florals by Fleur de Lis, that gown and the awesome color palette (purple and green… one of my absolute faves), I am completely enamored. All planned and designed to perfection by The Invisible Hostess, these nuptials are the perfect start to what I suspect will be a pretty wonderful week. Join me in the gallery for even more!

Jill and Mike’s destination wedding was held in Washington Wine Country at Karma Vineyards, a Methode Champenoise House located in Lake Chelan. Karma’s owners, Julie and Bret, named it after her two children, Karrie and Matthew. Sitting on some 70 acres at the South Shore of Lake Chelan, Karma makes one of the most scenic wedding venues at this vacation destination.
Jill and Mike was the lucky couple to first use Karma’s latest addition – an outdoor ceremony space atop one of its hills offering breathtaking views of Lake Chelan and its surrounding hills. Jill chose to use quite a few local vendors for this wedding, with flowers from local florist Lynn Tuttle and a majestic three-tier wedding cake from Barb Cunningham.
With some 180 guests, Jill and Mike’s wedding was a weekend extravaganza celebrated by friends and family who traveled from Seattle and other parts of the country. Sheena Kalso of The Invisible Hostess pulled everything together on the day-of, and a merry time was had by all, dancing the evening away at Karma’s “wine cave,” an underground wine aging facility that was turned into a beautiful reception venue for the wedding.
