Oh my goodness. This wedding is colorful. It is beautiful. It is ah-maze-ing. I’ll try to keep my swooning to a minimum so that you can fall as hard for it as we did. The stunning couple wanted something bright and colorful, smack dab in the middle of sweet, old Savannah. A challenge, yes. But these images from one of our favorites, Donna Von Bruening Photographers, are proof that they TOTALLY knocked the socks off Savannah. Tene and David were married in Savannah at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. The normally serene, white tented courtyard was infused with bold, bright colors for this chic affair. Using fushia, yellow and turquoise as the primary “splashes of color,” the courtyard was transformed into Tene and David’s colorful circle of love. Utilizing the fabulous chandelier as the epi-center, Amy Harvey and her staff at Harvey Designs enhanced the chandelier with a flair for the dramatic and endless color.
The day was finely documented by Donna Von Bruening Photographers and coordinated perfectly by Wedding Soiree. The groom, a graduate of Savannah State University, was extremely proud to have his family and friends visit Savannah to witness his wedding. He exhibited his excitement by performing a special step show during the reception accompanied by his fraternity brithers from Kappa Alpha Psi. His performance was the highlight of the evening, followed closely by delicious treats by Kerry O’Connor Cake Design. Desiring not to have the traditional wedding cake, Tene and David chose gem-adorned red velvet, chocolate, and banana cupcakes to send their guests off with a sweet good night.
