Pratt Place Barn Wedding from J.Bailey Occasions

It’s no secret that a wedding in a barn is the way to this girl’s heart. I love absolutely everything about them. And this one, from J.Bailey Occasions is definitely no exception. The team at J.Bailey did a phenomenal job transforming this barn from rustic to stunning, all the while incorporating all the things this couple loves – lace, family traditions, and, of course, their adorable dog. Even the invites from Sincerely Yours Paper, Inc. (whom we sincerely LOVE) have lace details! Perfect. Don’t forget to check out the gallery for more!

From Jenessa of J.Bailey Occasions … This sweet wedding of Southern belle Taryn and Southern gentleman Ryan was held on November 6, 2010 at the lovely Pratt Place Barn. From the hankie Save the Dates and lace covered invitations, to the homemade family treats and scalloped recipe cards, this wedding has personal touches from the first impression in the mail to the sparkling reception exit.

Taryn’s palette of soft peach and ivory lace, with a hint of navy, allowed for a sweet, feminine design to match the bride’s personality. The groom wasn’t forgotten, though. A flat screen television was playing his beloved Razorback’s football game, and there were personalized golf tee favors for the guys and tailgate snacks to boot.

Taryn wanted to feature family traditions in her wedding. At the entry of the reception, a vintage cream mantel showcased family wedding photos. Just next to this homespun display were the homemade treats of Grandma’s Pound Cake and Momma’s Turtles along with custom designed, scalloped recipe cards for guests to take home. In true Southern fashion, the guests waved their hankies (that they received as Save the Dates) as the couple made their exit amongst a sea of sparklers. We also can’t forget that the bride’s dog, Winnie, was a part of their day. Winnie was adorned with a fresh floral collar so that she could be a part of the day.

Taryn’s love for lace was incorporated from beginning to end. Her save the dates were lace-cornered hankies; her invitations included hand-applied lace pieces. The reception included lace luminaries lighting the path to the barn, custom lace lighting surrounding the cake, and lace overlays on the tables. Her stunning bride’s cake even had hand spun sugar lace!

I could go on and on about how well this wedding reflected this Southern couple and their families. It was perfect for them!
