David and I knew we wanted the wedding to be an intimate yet simple event for our close friends and family members. To bring out that intimacy, we envisioned to have everyone gather at a homey location close by, with a beautiful view for our guests to enjoy as well as spacious and intriguing grounds for the little ones to play on. Remarkably, not too far from home, we stumbled upon a venue that satisfied all our needs. With the majestic décor of a Victorian house and vastly diverse grounds, the Rengstorff Estate presented a character that we were not able to find elsewhere. More importantly, the openness of the venue allowed us to be creative! We brought out the richness of fall with vibrant autumn colors and pumpkin centerpieces.  We also brought out the “starlight” with many hanging lights and lanterns.

Our photographers, Delbarr and her husband, were so warm and friendly; it was easy for me and David to display our adoration for each other. During our shoot, we even ventured off into the tall grass and leaf piles to explore the grounds beyond the estate. Watching us closely, our little flower girls did not hesitate to join in on the amusement.

Our vendors were all a great help and they constantly expressed their heartfelt excitement for me and David. Our flowers were done by a kind, friendly and accommodating lady, Sophia, who captured the richness of our theme with orange calla lilies and dark berries. More importantly, our biggest thanks go out to our friends who contributed their time and effort to set up and transform the site into a beautiful wedding. I don’t know how we could have pulled it off without them. The contribution and the blessings from all our guests made the wedding everything we could ask for and an experience that we will never forget.
