Australian Wedding Style From D’nM Wedding Films

This lovely afternoon ~ we’re heading over to Australia and the forever fabulous team of filmmakers at D’nM Wedding Films! As always, they’ve expertly captured the terrific spirit of the day and the great love surrounding today’s newlyweds.

From Dave at D’nM Wedding Films

While many video companies are choosing names that can be adapted for the ‘corporate’ side of their business, we actually changed our name to include ‘wedding films’. We love filming weddings and are very proud to be wedding filmmakers. Our approach is to find the stories within a wedding day that are unique to the couple and reflect who they are. We aim to find the perfect balance between beautiful visual artistry and comprehensive coverage of the event. We are based in Sydney, Australia – but available to film wherever you are !

Tammie and Adam’s wedding was unique for us as we shared the filming of the day with a television crew. Tammie and Adam had been cast in the Australian version of the television show “Four Weddings”, in which four brides attend each others’ weddings and compete for the prize of a 2nd honeymoon. They didn’t win the honeymoon, but I think Tammie and Adam’s wedding was definitely the nicest! Tammie describes the Australiana theme to the wedding below. It was important for us to capture the theme, but most important for us to capture who they are as a couple. Together, they are a perfect pair; both very easy-going people with a love for the fun things in life. The wedding day was very stress-free and it was great to work with a couple who were very happy to go with the flow and enjoy every moment. I think that we have reflected that in the film.

From Tammie …

Adam proposed to me while we were on holiday in Fiji – and from that moment, it was time to start the planning! Our day was truly unique and paid homage to Australia, with Australian produce, native gum nut bouquets, kangaroos and a bush setting to die for. It brought together both our families who now seem like long lost friends. I wanted every aspect to reflect our personality. A lot was DIY I made things like our invites, decorations, menus, name cards and table numbers. And to quote one of our guests; “Can you feel the love in this room, I have never felt so much love.”
