New York Wedding by Robert Sukrachand

The ladies of Poppies and Posies have done it once again. They have created a masterpiece in the form of crazy gorgeous florals for this swoon-fest captured by Robert Sukrachand. Set on the banks of the Hudson River, this Persian wedding boasts not only an uber stylish couple and a magnificent 18th century mansion to hold all of the festivities but they have donkeys! Really, really cute donkeys. See more of this fantastic New York celebration in the gallery.

From the Bride…

For two people who has absolutely no idea how and where to begin when planning a wedding, we managed to pull together an absolutely perfect weekend. After looking at tons of venues in a few different states we fell upon an exquisite private estate along the Hudson River, about two hours north of the New York City, where we live. The decided on the 70-acre property, which consisted of a stunning 18th century mansion (brilliantly restored by current owner Andre Balazs), a pool over looking the Hudson, a farming complex, two guest houses, and the best part…donkeys! I’m a devout vegetarian and a HUGE animal lover and my parents refused to allow the family shih-tzus to have any part in the wedding, so having the donkeys and sheep be part of our wedding day meant a lot to me.
