I have a HUGE confession. Probably one that my now husband shouldn’t read. But, it’s a happy ending so I figured what the hell. When I got my engagement ring (6 years ago…gasp), I wasn’t so sure about it. It was a yellow gold and I had my heart set on a white gold or even better…a platinum ring. But upon closer inspection, I realized that I was staring down at a 1920’s Antique Tiffany diamond ring. Yep, I KNOW. Well, really seeing the beauty in that changed my whole gold perspective. I am now officially a golden girl. I ordered gold rimmed china to match, decorated my home with gold touches and now, I ONLY wear gold jewelry. So, of course, I am a little biased, but I am currently obsessing over these gold hued shoes from Piperlime…
One part Grecian goddess, one part completely chic, I love that they add a bit of glamor to your wedding look without going over the top. That top one by Kenneth Cole with the T strap is like all of my shoe dreams come true and I just happened to spot it on Project Runway the other day so I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who loves it wholeheartedly. But the best part? All but one of these beauties are under $100. The heel with the rosette is actually $24.00!! Style and affordability. Can’t beat that.
