North Carolina Destination Wedding by Kellie Kano

We are beyond giddy for this pretty, pretty North Carolina destination wedding. It is residing in a happy place where traditional elegance and timeless beauty go hand in hand. Not to mention the fact that the bride planned everything from across the Atlantic; no easy feat as most of us can attest to. Photographed by the lovely Kellie Kano, this is a lesson in romance, glamour and complete city chic and we are enamored with the result. You can find even more from this delightful day in the gallery.

From Kellie Kano:

This couple planned their destination wedding from Jersey Island, off the coast of France. The Bride, Beatriz wanted to find a venue that reflected their Uptown NYC style with clean lines and lots of soft, romantic details. Since she and Dwayne lived in NY prior to their move to the Channel Islands, they wanted something with a NY feel and instantly fell in love with the Proximity Hotel’s light-filled rooms and chic design. With only 80 guests in attendance, their wedding was very intimate and over half of their guests flew in from overseas. I adored the light, airy feel of the centerpieces and how the lace linens played off the lace bodice of Bea’s Christos gown. Everything about this wedding was classic, timeless and romantic.
