Indiana Wedding by Our Labor of Love

This is such a sweet little treat for your afternoon. Sent to us by Heidi of Our Labor of Love, these Indiana nuptials come bearing vintage sass and gorgeous photography… such a winning combination. The sweet couple behind the day met and fell in love at Indiana University in Bloomington so what better place to seal the deal then that very campus.  Looking for more? From Heidi of Our Labor of Love:

Colleen’s wedding was vintage pink. She had a specific color of pink she chose and carried it through the entire day. From the typeface on her letter pressed invitations, nail polish, lip color, even Kirk’s socks and tie matched. She accented this vibrant pink with an equally vibrant green of her bridesmaids dresses.

The wedding was held on the campus of  Indiana University in Bloomington- where the couple met and fell in love. The campus had a worn bulletin board, torn clean for the summer break, which made a great kind of funky/cool backdrop for a few shots. As we were taking portraits we found a vintage pink bicycle and had to incorporate it into the shoot. Vintage pink bike = really happy photographer.

The ceremony was quaint and sweet, very personal and touching – and afterwards pink lemonade as served to guests as they headed towards the reception. Black and white striped menus sat atop tables decorated with flowers and whoopie pies. Ribbon chandeliers hung from the ceiling and Michael Antonia for the Flash Dance was there to start the evening’s party.

The day was great – kinda like a relaxed day with friends, kinda like a special gathering nestled inside of a great university campus, kinda like a prom (but waaaaay better) and just plain ol’ sweet.
