Warm summer nights are here and this shoot totally embraces the glowing sunsets, fresh fruits, and colorful petals. This will not only inspire but will make you want to gather up your friends for a fresh little outdoor dinner. There are more tons, TONS more amazing details for you right here in our galleries.

A perfect day for a romantic, nostalgic Southern summer wedding. Nostalgic crackles from the Victrola accompany the songbirds as the early summer sun dips down towards the treeline. A quaint gathering of friends nestle on the grass on homemade quilts, awaiting the proud entrance of the bride and groom. Streaming pennants sway between the trees from the light breeze, and the local flowers that adorn the walkways shine in the golden sun’s warm glow. A light outdoor reception on the lawn with berries and cream, sweet tea, ice-cold Coke and fresh homemade berry pies in lieu of the expected wedding cake.

Our couple are a creative pair: she an artist and he a musician, so the unique handcrafted details fit their personality. Many of the pieces used to style this Southern summer wedding inspiration shoot were personal handmade items, including the artwork (other than the Renoir) painted by our groom’s grandmother. Each place setting had a miniature art easel instead of a name card, and the mixed media artwork hung from many of the trees around the wedding area. A painted canvas was used for guests to sign and give well wishes and this unique “guest book” was finished with portions of the groom’s boutonniere, fabric garland as well as pieces from their program.
