Portland, Oregon Wedding by Jessica Hill

This has got to be the coolest freaking wedding I’ve seen in ages.  There are skulls involved.  Skulls.  Cuff link skulls, but skulls, nonetheless.  And amaaaaazing jewelry, and blow-ya-mind invitation suites, and from-the-heart vows, and EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WEDDING RULES.  Thank you, Jessica Hill, for bringing such photographic awesomeness to my day!!  Seriously, the eye candy going on here is astonishing.  It’s almost too much for me.  Without a doubt, you are going to covet some aspect of this wedding.  I’m already regretting not moving to Portland, befriending this couple in the early stages of their courtship and, subsequently, getting invited to this event.  It pains me.  Nicole, Beachum… If you two renew… can I come?  I’m easy; I won’t even ask for a plus 1!  Think about it and get back to me.  Please and thank you.  (As always, if you’d like to see the wedding in its entirety – and you do – just click right here.) – xoxo, Alison of The Knotty Bride

A few words from photographer Jessica Hill:

Nicole and Beachum’s October wedding in Portland, Oregon was filled with NW flair and a vintage contemporary feel. Held in a vintage movie theatre, the wedding was low-key yet elegant with a strong focus on family. Nicole wore a silver Vera Wang gown, and purple Prada shoes and Beachum looked dapper in a slim D&G Suit and boots. Their colors were orange and green with hints of purple. They used orchids and white pillars to design the tables and served family style by sectioning the tables off into the regions of Portland, NW, NE, SW and SE. They served fruit and cheese and charcuterie on raw walnut boards and passed bottles of wine into the night. They carried the theme throughout by using wine corks to hold the place cards and hosted a signature cocktail during happy hour, a pomegranate margarita. Beachum’s family created an incredible recipe for the jam which the couple made together and used their signature branding (A puzzle piece) to use as favors for all the guests to take home.

Thank you, Nicole and Beachum, for allowing us to bask in your awesomeness.  All the best for a happy life filled with love!

xoxo, Alison of The Knotty Bride
