Winter’s chilly temperatures can be a great excuse for brides and bridesmaids to add a little extra personal style to their wedding-day attire. Fortunately for all of us, there is no better time than now, as the fashion industry is sweater and jacket crazy, dishing out SO many stinking cute options it’s almost hard to find a place to start. Well, today we’re doing just that. We’re bringing you the brightest trends and taking them to a whole new bridal level. From vivid hues to glamorous faux-furs, you’re sure to find some inspiring options to keep you cozy and fabulously styled on the big day.

First up, a collection of wedding-ready cardigans to ease the “What to wear?” woes.

Row I: A colorful cardigan can be a great way to carry out a hue used in your wedding color palette. For a chilly day, I LOVE this ruffled cardigan from Anthropologie. The tailored waist and dramatic collar allow this piece to be worn to a dressier affair. For those of you planning a country-side reception, this cable knit cardi found at Mod Cloth is a must for a rustic look in a mustard hue. If you’re your style is a bit more girilie, this Nordstrom option is absolutely adorable for an early spring wedding.

Row II: I think the stark contrast in this knit found at LuLu’s has sophistication written all over it and would be a beautiful compliment to a sheath styled gown. A friend of mine recently wore this dreamy Anthropologie wrap at her January, rustic-chic wedding. It’s absolutely beautiful over a strapless, A-line dress. If you’re your looking for a bit more embellishment, this cashmere cardigan by Nanette Lepore is a must-have. Not to mention, the cropped length is just about perfect with any style gown.

Row III: We know how much you ladies like to add vibrant pops of color to give a little oomph to your wedding-day look. If your favorite color is pink, this Anthropologie cardigan is perfectly adorned with delicate flowers, giving it just the right amount of artful flair. For a more dramatic look, I seriously love this J. Crew knit, simply overflowing in the ruffle department (in a very good way). If you style is more comfy and causual, this cardigan from Mod Cloth is perfect for such an affair. Add a fantastic vintage brooch to dress it up a bit more.
