Aaron Delesie is the photographer behind some of my all time favorite weddings on Style Me Pretty. In fact, we heart him so very much, that we asked him to provide our category images for our Little Black Book. It’s the softness, the dreaminess of his style that totally resonates with me and if I had to build a wedding that would allow his photography to really shine…it might look a lot like this one.

For Ana & Eddie’s ceremony, Mille Fiori draped the arbor with flowing cream fabric that moved with the wind, along with hanging phaleonopsis orchids on each side, and floating glass globes filled with individual florals. The color palette was kept more neutral during the ceremony – with golds, creams and some coppers, while the ocean in the background created the natural blue scenery. Ana wanted to walk down a bed of ivory rose petals and lined with lush hydrangeas. Guests were welcomed into the ceremony lawn through 2 tall wrought iron gates, flanked with 2 large chocolate brown wooden planters with wheatgrass. Ana & Eddie’s logo were made into decal stickers and placed onto the planters. The gates were still opulent, but fit well within the Mediterranean design, as when you’ve stepped into lawn of an Italian Villa overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The ceremony was lighthearted, and officiated by their family friend. The string quintet played mostly traditional ceremony music, but for the recessional, Ana & Eddie walked back down the aisle hand in hand newly married to “I’m Yours” (Jason Mraz).
As guests moved onto the cocktail reception, they were delighted to see the outdoor lawn area covered with ivory & light turquoise blue cabanas & furniture, fire pits, & chandeliers within each cabana that were designed by Rrivre Works. Guests relaxed in the cabanas and looked out to the views of the Pacific Ocean. No one ever got chilly with the fire pits, warm throws, and violet pashminas provided to the ladies. The Terranea Resort provided well presented hors d’oeuvres, tray passed wines & champagnes. Instead of escort cards, guests found their names were printed onto snow globes filled with shells & pearls for their seating assignments.
