Christos Wedding Dresses

Next up is one of our most popular Look Book designers…Christos. The gowns that Christos makes, which are actually under the creative direction of Amsale, are all girl. They are tradition with hints of modern charm. Silhouettes that are forever timeless, forever feminine. I love, love, love Christos and this latest collection that Matthew Grazier captured, is Christos at its best.

One of the themes that Christos is known for is their use of French Lace. And although this collection was heavy on the lace, it was layered in with organza and silk. They took absolutely timeless fabrics and wrapped them around silhouettes that are as romantic and elegant as always. The above dress was the clear show stopper from this collection and one that I would probably wear every single day if I could.

I love, love, love the scoop back in the middle row above. It’s the perfect example as to how Christos gowns embrace a woman’s figure. Again, the fabric detailing on this particular collection is to die for with hints of tradition tucked into each and every dress.

And if I was choosing my own gown from Christos’ Fall 2010 collection, it would probably be the middle row above. It’s so classic, so girly. It’s the kind of dress that your hubby will fall head over heels in love with and yet your mother will think you look as beautiful as she’s ever seen you. It’s perfection.

Coming up next, Kenneth Pool!
