Gourmet Invitations Presents The “Kate” Wedding Paper Suite

We’ve been showing you some of Kate and Mike’s wonderful wedding moments the last couple of days. Their June wedding was totally gorgeous and several of Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book members were there to prove it! If you’ve missed either of the weekend posts, you simply must go back and see ….

And now … today, another fabulous LBB member’s contribution to the entire affair from Tifany at Gourmet Invitations!

from Tifany

“Kate came to me with the crazy new design she had seen on Wedding Bee. But the photos she started out with weren’t anything like the ultimate design. The initial invitation was five 5×7 panels – instead of small inserts. I simply fell in love with the idea and started coming up with ideas to make it “mine”. The sample she had was a contemporary layout (the panels were held together with a hole in the upper corner and tied together with ribbon…the style just didn’t fit Kate).  I wanted to make it more formal for Kate’s event. I came up with a set of panels that were held together with a sash, custom printed with the guest’s names. We tossed with designs for weeks and Kate fell in love with a paisley design with swirls and scrolls behind. Every panel in this amazing invitation is designed differently and I love the four colors and font. The custom stamps and envelopes just complete the overall look of what turned out to be a crazy unique invitation. Thanks Kate – for believing in my ability to create an invitation that was not only totally “you”, but gave me a kick in a new direction of invitation design.”

… the reception pieces …

Tifany also designed the gorgeous rehearsal dinner and brunch invitations …

… as well as the invitations for one of Kate’s wedding showers …

For one thing … I had honestly forgotten that there were so many paper pieces involved in executing a wedding! But the other thing is …can you believe how gorgeous it all turned out! Kate and Tifany, you guys did a fabulous job.

All of the designs we’ve seen from Tifany at Gourmet Invitations are positively delightful! If you go to her website, you’ll see that she has a tremendous portfolio of designs.  On the Gourmet Invitation website, the question is posed:  “What do you want your invitation to be? Paper … or Art?” A Style Me Pretty Bride would most definitely reply, “Art”.

And this is what Kate had to say  … “It’s hard to believe that I’ve known Tifany for nearly 3 years now. From my first encounter with her, I just knew that I would love her. Not only are her products great, but her customer service can’t be beat. To me, that was just as important as the final product given the nature of invitation design. As many of you know who have worked with her, it’s a process and there are many revisions and new ideas along the way. I initially came to her with an idea and she was able to make my vision become a reality. Tifany is the whole package – what everyone hopes all their vendors will be like. By this I mean, not only does she deliver a great product, but her customer service is impeccable!  I honestly don’t think I’ve e-mailed anyone as much as I have her in my entire life :) Tifany was always patient with my many changes and last minute additions to my order. I never doubted that the final product would be anything short of spectacular. She is probably one of the hardest working people that I know and she treats all her brides like they are her one and only. I can honestly say that she is one of the people I’m going to miss most now that everything is over. To not book Tifany would be a huge mistake as there is no one else that compares to her!”

Congratulations, Tifany on your excellent designs and all of the rave reviews from your very satisfied brides.
