Wedding Flowers by Studio del Fiore

When Lisa Martin, at Studio del Fiore, sent me these pictures from a recent wedding that she helped design…I literally started clapping. Sounds strange, I know. But sometimes, when I see a wedding that is just this chic, I get really excited! I am totally smitten with this look. That gorgeous dress, the insanely unique color palette, the whole nine yards…

Here are some details that Lisa sent me…

Mike & Nicole Morris tied the knot on 9.1.07!

These two have a funny history. Originally Mike was to be set up with a co-workers friend, which was a bust. But being that Mike was new to the area, he was looking for a new place to rent and ended up renting a room from the co-workers friend. Which brings Nicole into the picture… she was the girl next door. Before they knew it those little talks on the porch became dinner and movies and so on..the rest is wedding history!

The ceremony/reception site was at the Oregon Historical Society. It’s a great spot for a downtown wedding, with a great patio for a ceremony and reception site. They headed across the street to the park blocks for some family pics. Nicole wanted to be a typical bride and be a princess, but did not want the typical princess dress- She opted for a super funky dress that fit her personality.

Same for the flowers, she wanted something modern and funky with flair. Using the vibrant Green and Orange as her color pallet, her bouquet was a mix of Celosia, Spicy & Sweet Akito Roses, Cymbidium Orchids and Brunia.

I am dorking out, I know…but YAY! I love this wedding! Thanks so much, Lisa for sharing!!
