Wedding Flowers by Tapestry Flowers

Since this morning’s wedding was so bright and cheerful, which we all need a little dose of now and then, I wanted to keep the lighthearted inspiration going. This wedding, with florals designed by Tapestry Flowers, is just so pretty. The bright yellows, greens and pure whites seem to make the beauty of the day crystal clear…

from Karen, designer at Tapestry Flowers…

The wedding was at a private estate in Napa Valley, CA, photographed by Kirstie Tweed (Orange Girl Photographs) from Banff Canada. The bride and groom really wanted unconventional and whimsical flowers. We did the ceremony in all bright citrus yellow, with two 8′ tall obelisks made completely from layers of yellow flowers. The aisle was lined with thousands of piled high lemons and the bride had a hand-painted lemon aisle runner custom made.
The cocktails were lemons and limes, and the little cocktail arrangement of craspedia was filled with sliced open lemons. Guest found their tables from luggage tags tucked in flower filled mini suitcases. The reception tables featured paved layered square centerpieces in lemons, limes and oranges, topped with a neat flower ball with a poof of feathers.

I so wish that I had been a guest at this wedding. It just seems like the perfect way to celebrate on a Spring or Summer afternoon. What I really love about this wedding (and the one featured earlier today) is the sheer innovation behind the gorgeous designs. I rarely see such beautiful, bright colors interpreted in such a chic and unique way. Hats off to Tapestry Flowers!
